This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.bettercollegeapps.com (the “Site”).  This website is operated by Better College Apps, LLC. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Better College Apps, LLC.  The terms “you” and “your” refer to users, visitors, customers, clients, and their dependent minors.

By using this website, you agree to our Terms of Service.  You represent that you are 13 years of age or older and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.  Our website, information, and services are not directed towards children under the age of 13.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

As a part of the products and services we provide, it is necessary for us to receive and review information you send us which is related to or contained in your or your dependent minor’s college admission application or scholarship application.  This may include, but is not limited to, information regarding your academic record, high school transcript, activities, involvement, leadership, awards, disciplinary records, public records, test scores, letters of recommendation, essays, resumes, supplemental materials or other related information.  It may also include information you send us about yourself and your personal history as it pertains to your application.  We refer to this information as “Application Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Order Information and Application Information including any information you send us pursuant to fulfillment of our services.

By using our website or services you agree not to send us social security numbers or other information which should not be shared.

We do not collect offline data or use purchased marketing data or lists.  We do not sell your data to any third party or share it with any third party except as outlined in this policy or as required by law.

PROTECTING INFORMATION

We may receive personal information regarding you that you submit through our website or otherwise.
